Andromeda Productions is an independent film production company which produces high quality, innovative commercials, documentaries and industrials for the American and Latin American markets.
Andromeda Productions is a fully bilingual production company, and provides complete production services from script to screening in Spanish and English. Miami is an important intercontinental gate for commerce and cultural exchange, and Andromeda Productions offers multicultural expertise to create effective and innovative audiovisual messages.
The company is currently developing programming for television, including feature-length films, series, and fashion segments for variety shows.

Emilia Anguita Huerta

Emilia Anguita Huerta was born and raised in Chile, where she obtained a B.F.A. Mention Summa Cum Laude. Then, she moved to Venezuela, where she started her career in film and television.
She was the art director of feature and short films, and commercials for Walter Thompson Agency, Nabisco and Kraft products. As an independent filmmaker, she wrote, produced and directed international award winning short films, including Clay and Shadows and Under the Lines. As TV Director for Radio Caracas Television, a primary Venezuelan broadcaster, Ms. Huerta directed primetime soap operas; youth shows including Disney Club and dramatic episodes for magazine series.
In 1992, Ms. Huerta founded Andromeda Productions. The corporation created documentaries, institutional and educational films for companies as the Simon Bolivar University, PDVSA, (the Venezuelan National Oil Company), MAVESA Corporation, Novartis Nutrition, UNICEF and GAN (The National Art Gallery), among others. Ms. Huerta produced, directed and wrote documentaries about social issues and biographical series. Her film project The Sword and the Light received sponsorships from Venezuelan, Chilean and Spanish corporations including IBERMEDIA, and is currently under development.
In 2000 Ms. Huerta launched Andromeda Productions’ operations in Miami, Florida. Andromeda has created corporate image videos for companies like REDCOM Laboratories; commercials for Mock & Roll, Farm Direct Corporation and Venevision International; documentaries for AIGA Miami ArtopiA, and editing and broadcast design for MTV Networks, among other productions. Her short Red Bird, produced in Miami, is his first narrative film in English.
Ms. Huerta founded the Chilean Film Festival in Miami. She is completing her MFA in Screenwriting at the University of Miami School of Communications, and is currently developing feature films and series for television. |

Alejandra Huerta

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Alejandra Huerta received a degree in Visual Communication from Creapole-Esdi, a prestigious design school in Paris, France; and a Cum Laude BFA in Graphic Design, minoring in Art History, from the University of Miami, USA.
She worked as a broadcast designer and editor for MTV Latin America and was the Production Designer for the award-winning short Red Bird.
In May 2004 Alejandra joined Andromeda Production as a partner and relocated to New York City, where she worked as an editor for episodics for shows such as SpongeBob Squarepants, Unfabulous, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and Teenick (Nickelodeon;) as a producer-editor for long-format TV shows such as Sucker Free Latino (MTV Tr3s,) and editor for magazine-format shows as Videofashion News, Designer Marathon and Elements of Style (Videofashion,) and as and art director for several show packages.
As a freelancer, she edited promos for clients such as Oxygen Network and Food Network, and marketing presentation tapes for MTV International. She created the concept and directed the pilot of the TV showRadar, produced by Andromeda Productions.
